J. Jones Biography
Raised just outside of Boston in Randolph, MA, Jared Jones is a voice of the future. Son of Rev. Dr. Kirk Byron Jones and Mary Brown-Jones; Jones started singing as a child, but was too shy to sing in public. It wasn’t until he joined his school chorus class at 13, that he started singing publicly. The rest is history; from there music became his main focus. Over the next few years, Jones created the local singing group, True Talent, along with fellow singers Ezemdi Chikwendu, Melvin Hill, Milord Mirville, and Javan Holligan. He felt the need to associate the group with a record label name, thus creating Speak-EZ Music. As True Talent continued to make a name for themselves, J. Jones started working on his solo debut. The highly-anticipated "All in a Message" showcases Jones' impeccable talent. Influences of his idols Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Justin Timberlake, Musiq Soulchild, Beyonce, Usher, Alicia Keys, Brian McKnight, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Dallas Austin, Rodney Jerkins, and Carl Thomas can be heard throughout the album, in addition to his own unique flare. J. Jones is a legend in the making.
