The Fab Cats biography

The FabCats - Oh Yeah! is the first CD by the Syracuse, NY-based British Invasion tribute act. The album mixes several retro-styled originals with faithful remakes of mid-sixties hits by The Beatles, Searchers, Easybeats, Byrds, Yardbirds, Hollies, Gerry & The Pacemakers and Johnny Rivers. Also included is an updated version of the Ventures' Walk Don't Run. The FabCats feature Gary Frenay & Arty Lenin (both founding members of the Syracuse, NY, New Wave band, The Flashcubes), Dave Novak (of Carmen & The Vikings, The Nightcaps and Cross Creek) and drummer Dave Miller (Sage & Waters, and The Montereys). Frenay, Lenin and Novak are all members of the Syracuse Music Hall of Fame, and the FabCats - Oh Yeah! was nominated for a SAMMY (Syracuse Area Music) Award in 2007.
