Now, it would seem a lot of people are afraid to come to concerts. When
you ask them why, of course, people lie. 

Oh, they saaay "That place scares me," or, "I have to work that night," or
"That's not my type of music"...but what it all boils down to is this:

People are afraid of the post-show get-together.

Yep, that's right - us Certified Rock Stars [TM] are always hangin' out
with our fans after the show (yes, we *do* have fans:), and a lot of
technical jargon and such gets passed around in conversation - especially
from members of other bands.

Since the plebeians don't play instruments, they are naturally confused,
and this confusion leads them to avoid concerts for fear of looking
foolish when the show is over.

In order to alleviate such concerns and enlighten the populace, however, I
have decided to translate the...

TOP TEN THINGS HEARD AFTER A ROCK CONCERT
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
10. "That was a great show!"
     Translation: I could have stayed home and done laundry.

 9. "What do you call that kind of music, anyway?"
     Translation: I would like to avoid such music in the future.

 8. "My band sounds a lot like that."
     Translation: My band sounds nothing like that.

 7. "You guys have gotten better since the last time I saw you."
     Translation: Sounds like you may have actually practiced since then.

 6. "You guys are a lot better than last time."
     Translation: I actually made it through two songs.

 5. "What was that first song you did? That was really cool..."
     Translation: I can't remember anything because I'm on crack.

 4. "When's your next show?"
     Translation: I am going to arrange boycotts of any venues that
                  support you.

 3. "You guys aren't what I expected!"
     Translation: I thought you were going to be _cool_!

 2. "You guys are nothing at all like I expected!"
     Translation: I thought you were going to suck!

And the #1 thing heard after a rock concert...

 1. "Man, you guys are the best band I've ever seen!"
     Translation: You're from Mobius, aren't you?
